UK: Man charged after explosive substance found in home in Hawkinge


A man has been charged after police discovered an explosive substance in a home on a residential street, after he was allegedly using a crossbow to fire arrows at a neighbour’s front porch.

During a search of the home, officers found a number of suspicious items, which were assessed by a specialist team from the Army.

The items were removed for further examination, with one now confirmed to be a viable explosive substance.
