UK: Starving Springer Spaniels found ‘roasting alive’ in Bracknell trailer will be trained in explosive detection and drugs detection in Kent


A litter of malnourished puppies found locked and ‘roasting alive’ inside a bike trailer near Bracknell have been adopted.

Thames Valley Police discovered six Springer Spaniel’s and their mother without water, food or daylight inside the trailer on July 30, during the summer heatwave, the force said.

Vets worked against the odds to bring the dogs back to health and on Friday, September 23, they were adopted by a security and detection dogs agency.
