Kensington Gardens has reopened after a major police search sparked by the discovery of suspicious items near the Embassy of Israel.
The park was closed on Friday after officers found several items, including two jars containing a powdered substance, prompting a large-scale response involving specialist teams. It reopened on Saturday after police confirmed the materials were “non-hazardous”. The investigation was launched amid concerns about an online video posted by the group Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia, which appeared to show drones targeting the embassy with dangerous substances.
