Israel: Jerusalem resident arrested for possessing explosives at home, threatening to use them


A man in his 30s was arrested in Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood after a report was received that he was holding explosives at his home and threatening to use them. Police officers who arrived at the suspect’s apartment conducted a search with police bomb disposal experts, during which they located findings that raise suspicion that these are indeed explosive materials and additional means. Bomb disposal experts and the canine unit continue to conduct searches to rule out the presence of additional explosives.
