Gardai say they have no evidence that drones were being used to deliver petrol bombs to the controversial former Crown Paints site in Coolock – despite a court hearing fears of that a week ago.
“An Garda Siochana has no evidence of a drone or drones being used to deliver incendiary devices in the Coolock area,” a spokesman told The Mirror. We put the request in after the High Court heard last Wednesday that it seemed drones were being used to drop unlit petrol bombs to the site, which has been the subject of ongoing protests and occasional violence over plans to house some 500 mostly Ukrainian refugees there.
