Ireland: House cordoned off in Cork after discovery of ‘potentially hazardous chemicals’


A terraced house on College Road in Cork city was cordoned off following the discovery of potentially hazardous chemicals.

Members of the Army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team and gardaí arrived at the house at 1pm and taped off the house and garden.

The house is close to University College Cork and a popular area for students.
