UK: Man faces explosives charge after metal pipe and powder found in Liverpool house

A 52-year-old man has been charged with an explosives offence following a police search at a house in Liverpool.

Mohammed Ali was arrested after officers were called to reports of a loud bang on the evening of 17 April.

Police said they found a metal pipe and black powder in the hallway of a house in Sunlight Street in the Anfield area of the city.
