UK: Man arrested after guns and grenades found at Market Rasen property


A man has been arrested after police discovered guns, grenades and mortar shells at a Lincolnshire property. Officers attended the property in Chapman Street, Market Rasen, on Wednesday, November 13.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were also called following the discovery. No cordon was put in place and police say there is no risk to residents. Lincolnshire Police released an update on the morning of Thursday, November 14, which states: “Officers remain on scene while searches are ongoing, and we expect this to continue this morning. There isn’t a risk to local residents. “A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.”
