The four puppies – two Labradors and two Spaniels – will undergo a training course in the coming weeks.
They’ll go onto help fight crime in Hull and the whole of the Humberside force area with specialist skills between them.
The two black Labradors, named Pearl and Flora, will be starting their crime-fighting journey as explosive detection dogs.
