Bomb disposal experts have carried out a controlled explosion on a West Sussex beach after ordnance was found there on Sunday (November 15th).
The item was found by a member of the public at the entrance to Pagham Harbour, with coastguard teams from Selsey called out at just before 9am.
The ordnance was located, photos were taken and sent to E.O.D (Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team) and a cordon was put in place and the beach was closed.
