Counter-terrorism police descended on a sleepy village to arrest a man on suspicion of possessing a bomb.
The 33-year-old man was arrested in the tiny village of Paulton, Somerset, as part of an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East and South West.
Seven police vehicles and a bomb disposal truck descended on the High Street area of the village – which has a population of just 5,300.
The man was initially arrested on Thursday on suspicion of making or possessing an explosive substance in suspicious circumstances and was held in custody.
