UK: Bomb disposal team called out to Penryn’s Masonic Lodge


The Royal Navy’s bomb disposal team was called out to Penryn after a “suspicious incendiary device” was found outside a building in the town.

Devon and Cornwall Police says officers were called out at 11.10am to reports of the device outside the back door of the Masonic Hall in New Street.

A team from the Royal Navy Explosive Ordinance Control was also dispatched to the scene and the incident was described as “arson with intent to endanger life”.
