According to authorities, a soldier was killed due to a training accident at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Johnson on Saturday, May 11.
According to Fort Johnson’s public affairs office, the soldier was assigned to the 749th Ordnance Company, 242nd Explosive Ordnance Battalion (EOD) and 71st EOD Group at Fort Carson, Colorado. The name of the soldier has not yet been released
