Seattle police arrest felon in stolen car, find homemade bomb


Police said they found a handgun and homemade explosive device in a car that was being driven by a felon.

Officers spotted the stolen car in the 7000 block of Marginal Way South in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

When officers pulled over the driver, he ran away but was quickly arrested and searched. Officers said the 25-year-old suspect had a handgun and modified keys that are typically used by car thieves.
