The deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate (GOU) of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, was killed in a car explosion in Balashikha, Moscow region.
“According to preliminary information, as a result of the explosion, the deputy chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, was killed. According to reports, the explosion occurred as a result of the detonation of an improvised explosive device stuffed with striking elements,” said the official representative of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Svetlana Petrenk
