Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has detained a 21-year-old resident of the Kaliningrad Region, who is charged with organizing arson attacks targeting transport infrastructure in 15 Russian regions early this year, the FSB told TASS.
“Between February and March, the suspect recruited people in 15 Russian regions to take part in criminal activity involving committing acts of arson targeted at telecommunications and transportation infrastructure. More than 15 acts of arson organized by the suspect have been recorded, of which five were thwarted by law enforcement agencies, and 10 perpetrators have been arrested,” the FSB said.
