The town of Isulan in Sultan Kudarat stayed on heightened alert following the discovery of another improvised explosive device (IED) near the cadaver of a shooting victim Tuesday night.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) are digging into the recovered IED and its connection to the shooting of two men in Barangay Kenram in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
Lt. Col. Modesto Carrera, newly designated police chief of Isulan, said the two men were seen sitting on a parked motorbike beside the highway in Purok Don Juan,
Barangay Kenram when a riding in tandem arrived and fired at them.
