On Tuesday (11th January) morning, the police recovered 16000 kg of explosives from a truck in the Rampurhat area in the Birbhum district of West Bengal.
According to reports, the cops seized 320 sacks, each containing 50 kg of ammonium nitrate. They have detained the driver of the truck and his aide. The accused were brought to the Rampurhat police station for questioning. The police informed that the driver could not produce any document, permitting him to carry such large quantities of explosives.
