A homemade explosive device exploded at Tallinn’s Lilleküla High School on Friday and two minors, a teenage boy and girl, are suspected of making the explosive and organizing the explosion, the Estonian daily newspaper Postimees reported.
The alarm center received a call at 11:30 p.m. on Friday that an explosion was heard from Lilleküla High School and smoke could be seen emitting from the school building. The prosecutor’s office launched criminal proceedings.
Marie Aava, spokesperson for the North District Prosecutor’s Office, told Postimees the prosecutor’s office has launched criminal proceedings under the section of the Penal Code concerning the causing of an explosion that results in danger to property.
