The bomb disposal unit attended a North Staffordshire property after a number of items – believed to be flammable – were discovered.
Police were called to Dilhorne, shortly before 8pm last night (November 6), but have not revealed exactly what the items were.
A 27-year-old Stoke-on-Trent man has been arrested an remains in custody.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “Officers attended an address in Dilhorne where a number of items, believed to be flammable, were seized at around 8pm last night (6 November).
