Bangladesh: 16 crude bombs recovered from Kalyanpur flat


Police have recovered 16 crude bombs from a flat in Mizan Tower of Kalyanpur in the capital.

A team of police from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) raided the flat and recovered the bombs. DMP Mirpur Division Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Masuk Mia informed this information. He said: “Based on secret information, a bomb-like object was found in a flat after raiding Mizan Tower. Later, the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) was informed. They recovered 16 fresh crude bombs from there.”
