Australia: Launceston police taskforce seize homemade explosive, guns, drugs and cash

A homemade explosive device and $86,000 worth of cash are among the latest items seized by a Northern taskforce targeting illegal guns.

On Monday the Launceston Firearms Taskforce carried out a search warrant at a South Launceston address.

Here, police found and seized three pistols, one improvised homemade explosive device and over 1000 rounds of ammunition.
