A NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team operation is being conducted at Tapitallee, west of North Nowra.
Around 7am at least half a dozen unmarked vehicles assembled in a Tapitallee street.
The South Coast Register understands teams from the Australian Federal Police and NSW Police have joined the NSW JCTT to execute a search warrant on a home in the area.
Last week 21-year-old Sanctuary Point man Joshua Bruce Lucas was charged with a terrorism offence after being arrested at Sanctuary Point. He was allegedly planning to blow up a South Coast electrical substation at West Tomerong with an improvised explosive device (IED).
