Alabama: Irondale man indicted on terrorism charge for detonating explosive at AG’s Office

Kyle Douglas Calvert is indicted on two federal counts for his reported role in detonating an improvised explosive device or IED at the Alabama Attorney General’s Office in late February, according to court records.

Calvert was arrested Wednesday. No staff or personnel were injured by the explosion. Calvert is charged with malicious use of an explosive and possession of an unregistered firearm.
