Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko and Chief Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Ukraine Osamu Hattori signed a Grant Agreement for the implementation of the Emergency Response Program related to humanitarian demining and clearing of territories from unexploded ordnance.
The signing of the agreement will allow attracting grant assistance in the approximate amount of about JPY 4 billion. The funding will be directed to two key areas: – humanitarian demining of contaminated territories of Ukraine, in particular, the purchase of equipment for demining and conducting mine risk training for the population
