UK: Explosion which killed two ”caused by hand grenade set off by ex”


Two people died after a house explosion in Bristol, England, United Kingdom, on Sunday morning, with three others including a child injured and later released from hospital. Reports now say it was caused by a man setting off a grenade – killing himself and his ex partner. One local told The Sun:

“He’s turned up at her house with a grenade and detonated it on the doorstep and killed the pair of them.” Police deployed bomb disposal teams and continue to investigate the cause of the explosion, which occurred at around 6.30am.
