An item believed to be a bomb exploding in Clydebank has been captured on video by a nearby resident. A “suspect item” was found in Overtoun Court – a high-rise block of flats – in Dalmuir on the afternoon of Monday, October 28.
EOD personnel attended and carried out a controlled explosion on the device last night. Footage captured by a resident in another high-rise flat in the area shows the street beside Overtoun Court before a loud bang is heard. A police cordon was still in place with officers guarding the area. A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged firearms offence.
