Turkish soldiers injured by suspected IED blast in Duhok Governorate


Two Turkish soldiers were injured Saturday when their vehicle was hit by an explosion north of Nineveh in Duhok province, the mayor of Shekhan town said.

A Turkish army convoy was targeted with a suspected improvised explosive device while traveling near the military camp between Bashiqa and Zelikan village, the official said.

Asayish and police were investigating the incident, which has not yet been confirmed by the Turkish defense ministry.
