After an alarm was raised about a suspected explosive device left outside a car dealership in Malmö, Wednesday morning, police have confirmed that the object was a live hand grenade.
A large area had been cordoned off this morning, affecting local rush hour traffic. Police are now interviewing staff at local companies in the area and are going through video surveillance footage.
