The evolving threat posed by terrorist use of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) requires increasingly coordinated responses.
Drawing on experiences from Eastern Africa, the event will bring together Member States, United Nations entities and regional partners to explore strategies to strengthen prevention and response capacities, enhance legislative and operational frameworks, improve inter-agency coordination, and promote effective information-sharing.
Participants will exchange lessons learned, good practices, and operational perspectives, while examining how multilateral cooperation can support more coordinated and sustainable counter-IED efforts.
