The Afghan Special Forces killed a Taliban fighter during an operation in Washer district of Helmand.
The informed military sources said Monday that the Special Forces also detained 3 Taliban militants during the operation.
Meanwhile, the Special Forces killed 5 Taliban militants during an operation in Khash Rod district of Nimroz province.
The sources further added that the Special Forces also detained 4 Taliban fighters during the operation.
Furthermore, the Special Forces destroyed 50 pounds of heroin and 550 pounds of homemade explosives during the same operation.
