A suspect is now in custody after a search warrant uncovered handmade explosive devices along Highway 29 North.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office charged Anthony Kyle Jenkins with possession of a destructive device after an hours-long search in Williamston. Deputies said the Bomb Squad learned that Jenkins was using everyday household items and mixing them to create small explosions.
