Somalia: Mayor among the dead in police station bombing in Beletwyene


A bomb explosion went off Saturday afternoon at a police station in Ferfer Town located in the Somalia border with Ethiopia killing at least three people.

Sources in the town said a bomb suspected to have been planted in a restaurant inside the police station went off shortly after 3.30pm local time killing at least three people.

The mayor of the township and three other people were killing in the bombing. Beletwyene district police commandant was injured.
