A World War II bomb found during construction works will be disposed of in a controlled operation by the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit on Thursday.
In a statement, Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it had received a report of a war relic discovered at a construction site along Tanah Merah Coast Road. The SAF EOD team assessed the relic to be a 250-kilogramme World War II aerial bomb that is unsafe to move.
