Russia: Explosives technicians found six more bombs after explosion derails freight train in Belgorod region

The explosion targeting the rail network in the Belgorod region last night turned out to be much more serious than originally thought.

The explosion, which damaged the contact support and caused an emergency stop of a freight train of 66 cars, was only part of the plan, Baza reports. They were carefully hidden and the devices could explode at any time. Fortunately, the explosion occurred before the train fully entered the dangerous area. As a result of the incident, one car was damaged, but the consequences could have been much larger. Sappers neutralized the remaining devices, after which the movement of trains was restored.
