Moga Police has arrested three men for their involvement in the June 30 blast case outside a food stall. The explosive device, that went off in Moga on Tuesday, was made and planted by three people, including two brothers, to settle a score with a former employer, SSP Moga Harmanbir Singh Gill said.
The police had initially nabbed one person on the basis of a CCTV footage on July 1. Later, two more were arrested for heir involvement in the crime. The three have been identified as Sandeep Kumar, his brother Manoj Kumar and his friend Anup Singh.
Prime accused Sandeep is an ITI dropout and was a student of a mechanical course. After dropping out, he started working with one Raju at his roadside food stall located in Baghapurana area. Raju later asked Sandeep to leave as he had not been earning much from the food stall.
