Polish missile likely destroyed house amid Russian drone incursion


Last week, Russian drones repeatedly violated Polish airspace during a major aerial attack on Ukraine, which Warsaw described as a provocation. The incident prompted Poland and its NATO allies to scramble fighter jets, and Poland said that the drones posing a direct threat were shot down that night.

In an interview with private broadcaster TVN 24 on Wednesday, Tomasz Siemoniak commented on a recent report by the Rzeczpospolita newspaper which, citing anonymous sources within the country’s security structures, initially suggested that the house in Wyryki was not damaged by a falling drone, but by a stray anti-aircraft missile fired by a Polish F-16 jet.
