Pakistan: Two police constables die in Bajaur blast


Targeted attacks at police continue in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) as two more police constables were killed in an IED blast in Dama Dola, Bajaur tribal district on Friday.

Police told The Express Tribune that miscreants had planted an IED device near the police post in Dama Dola, Mamond which went off with a big bang.

“There is a back door in the post and the home-made IED device had been planted just outside it. It was detonated when two policemen, head constable (HC) Saeedur Rehman and constable Inayatur Rehman, went out of the post for some urgent work,” said an official, adding that both of them were left seriously injured in the blast who were rushed to the Khar Hospital but they had succumbed to their injuries before reaching there.
