Unidentified terrorists blew up two more bridges on Azam Warsak Road in Birmal tehsil of Lower South Waziristan district on Saturday. It was the third such incident in the past 24 hours as the security situation further deteriorated in the region.
According to sources, the attackers had planted improvised explosive devices under the bridges, destroying them completely. Police said that security forces had moved to the Danna area and were preparing for a major operation against suspected militants, which could take place at any time.
