A tribal elder was killed in Azam Warsak area in Lower South Waziristan district here on Monday, police sources said.
The sources said that the tribal elder identified as Akbar Jan was going home on a motorcycle when he was attacked with an improvised explosive device (IED) at the Azam Warsak area. He lost life on the spot.
