A soldier was killed and two people were injured in a bomb explosion in Quetta city of Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province on Thursday, officials said.
Some unknown militants parked an explosive-laden motorbike at the roadside and exploded it when a vehicle of paramilitary troops Frontier Corps passed by it, sources from an intelligence agency in the city told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
Security forces cordoned off the area and called in bomb disposal squad to collect details about the explosion from the blast site.
