Pakistan: Quadcopter attack in KP’s Bannu injures 8, including women


Islamabad – The Bannu district of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province witnessed a serious security incident on Friday night, resulting in the injury of eight people, including women. A powerful explosion occurred after a “suicide” Quad-copter drone crashed in the heart of a residential area, sparking extreme panic among locals who were caught off guard by the rogue aircraft’s descent near their homes.

Pakistani police sources reported that the drone was spotted hovering over the area from an unknown direction before suddenly hitting the ground and exploding shortly after. Residents and emergency teams rushed to the scene to recover the wounded and transport them to the District Headquarters Hospital in Bannu, where medical staff confirmed that several victims remain in critical condition under intensive care.
