A civilian was killed and four others were injured, while a bridge on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route was destroyed in separate terrorist incidents in Bannu district, police officials said on Tuesday.
They said that unidentified militants allegedly used a quadcopter drone to drop an explosive device in the jurisdiction of Bakakhel Police Station near the Customs Bakakhel area.
The attack, they said, claimed the life of Khatirullah, who died at the scene. Four people, including Saifullah, a 15-year-old son of the deceased, Asal Jan, son of Gul Marjan, Ameerullah, and Shakir, were injured in the attack.
