More than 11 tonnes of WW2-era munitions have been located by explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) experts in the northernmost atoll of Tuvalu in the South Pacific Ocean.
The devices were spread across a 12km lagoon in Nanumea, which has about 500 inhabitants and was the site of a US airbase during the war.
