Nigeria: Troops kill ISWAP top bomb producer


The troops of Operation Desert Sanity III and Operation Hadin Kai have successfully eliminated the Islamic State West African Province, ISWAP, top Commander in charge of Vehicle Bomb Improvised Explosive Device, VBEID, Mallam Muhammadu.

This followed the continuation of the troops’ major offensive at terrorist enclaves in Sambisa Forest. According to a report, Muhammadu was gunned down on May 14 after troops raided the insurgents’ dens in Ukuba and Njimia in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno state.
