Nigeria: Troops intercept illicit logistics bound for Cameroon, destroy 14 IEDs in Borno


In a series of intensified operations aimed at disrupting insurgent logistics and safeguarding civilian communities, Nigerian Army troops have recorded significant successes in Borno State, intercepting contraband believed to be destined for terrorists and safely neutralizing multiple improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

The interception took place along unauthorized border crossing points, known locally as Gates 3 and 4, along the Nigeria–Cameroon frontier. Military intelligence sources revealed that the patrol team spotted individuals ferrying assorted goods toward the riverbank leading into Cameroon.
