In an effort to improve the skills of operators of Explosive Ordnance Devices (EOD) in the North East (NE) theatre of operations, the Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) NE Operation HADIN KAI Maj Gen Gold Chibuisi on 6 November 2023, inaugurated the maiden Counter – Improvised Explosive Device Basic Field Exploitation Course 1/2023 organized by the British Military Advisory Training Team (BMATT).
Declaring the 10 day training course open at the Theatre Training School Maimalari Cantonment Maiduguri, Gen Chibuisi disclosed that the training was tailored towards equipping the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge required to mould them into better EOD operatives that will be professionally responsive.
