The Nigeria Police Force has trained 325 personnel on the handling of Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear threats. The participants were drawn from police commands across the 36 states of the federation.
The four-week intensive course took place at the Police Mobile Force Training College, Ende Hills, Nassarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. Speaking at the closing ceremony on Saturday, the Commissioner of Police in charge of EOD and CBRN, Hauwa Ibrahim, said the training marked a significant milestone in the NPF’s effort to enhance its counterterrorism capabilities.
