The Borno Police Command says it has discovered six projectile grenades allegedly abandoned by terrorists at Ajilari Cross Area in Maiduguri, the state capital.
Police Explosive Ordnance Department (EOD), Base 13, deployed to the scene to assess the grenades, discovered that they were manufactured with incendiary chemicals. The affected area is said to have been thoroughly screened, and the projectiles recovered intact, rendering the area safe.
