An Army base in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba in northeastern Nigeria has been sealed off by the military after an explosion hit the base on Tuesday night, May 10.
The explosion which occurred around the exterior axis of the Army’s 6th Brigade in Jalingo was said to have caused no casualties or destruction to the facility.
According to Channels TV, the Army has barricaded the roads leading to and from the axis of the Brigade headquarters.
In another incident on Tuesday, six soldiers attached to the Army’s 93rd Battalion were reportedly killed after Tati village in Takum area of the state was overrun during an attack.
